Anand “Sunny” Narayanan
Anand “Sunny” Narayanan, PhD, is a Research Faculty at Florida State University specializing in space and medical physiology. Dr. Narayanan has an interdisciplinary background in engineering and biomedical sciences, and has been involved with NASA since a high school intern, involved with various projects throughout his career, including research studies flown to the International Space Station. Dr. Narayanan is also a first-generation, immigrant, academic from a disadvantaged background (e.g. title I, Pell grant student, and Ronald McNair Scholar), and is passionate about supporting the next generation of students and young professionals interested in human space exploration efforts.
